Euless mom faces DWI charges stemming from crash that injured eight kids

Brenda Rodgers was arrested Thursday night (Nov. 6) by Euless police on charges of DWI with a child and endangering a child.

The charges stem from an accident that occurred on the night of Oct. 25, when Ms. Rodgers drove her Trailblazer to Northeast Mall to pick up her daughter and seven of her friends from their movie outing. She ran into a curb while transporting the kids home and rolled the SUV. All eight teenagers were transported to area hospitals following the accident.

Seems Rodgers blew a .13 on the breathalyzer, with the legal limit being .08. Which might explain the crazy driving described in the linked article by one of the kid passengers.
